The game show survivor, is it possible that the ending is inevitably fixed through monetary conspiracy?

This question was bought up early in the series. Apparently it is against the rules to discuss the prize money and they can be taken out if they do. I suppose they may take the chance of talking about the prize money... but it wouldn't be worth it getting caught.
