Is there any new sound underground rock music that is ready to break out?

remember the Seattle grunge scene before the 90's? there were the Melvins, Mudhoney, Strokes, dinosaur jr, Meat puppets, the vasalines, etc... they were all underground and hugely underrated. In addition they were alot different than what ppl heard on the Radio. what im asking is that are there any new sound and style of music out there ready to make a movement?
