The game show survivor, is it possible that the ending is inevitably fixed through monetary conspiracy?

Unfortunately they don't have pens, paper, Statutory Declarations or lawyers to draw up contracts. I'm sure promising money is another tactic but there is no way to legally force them to pay up, wo who'd believe them?
